Gorey goes another round

You will have to excuse my crazy photo of this moleskine that I have been busily completing whenever I get a moment where I feel like I am doing nothing... which is most of the time here in France. I don't have a scanner, and well, yes, that is two photos messily stuck together, but you get the idea. I am going to be sending this onto Wil tomorrow (registered).

Thanks guys!

I just wanted to say THANKS to all of you here in this group. I have closed down all of the other groups, because people do not pass on the molys, many molys got lost, etc.
So I´m really really glad and happy that this group and the molys are in rotation. :)

A collection of books

For Lapin's book, in the Moly X 6 group The theme is collections. I found this a bit difficult to do as I used to be a bit of a hoarder, but over the last few years I've been having less and less stuff. I even used to collect snow globes and had collections ranging from comics, kubrick figures, cd's, dvds, cameras, lots of books. I've sold pretty much everything and it feels good having less. I still have a good lot of art, design and illustration books which I'll keep, here's a small section.

Tribute To Edward Gorey

Tribute to Gorey Moly_X_6 (2)

Tribute to Gorey Moly_X_6 (2)

I finally managed to scan this little moly. It took me several days to get it right, as I´ve only got a smal A4 scanner. So usually I have to join the images in Photoshop to one whole picture. And somehow this one wasn´t easy to join.
I posted the lower picture to show you David´s addition. I love how the two pictures blend into each other. You see the guy at the left? The fur collar fits perfectly into David´s bushes.

I finally started and completed the pages of my own moly. I had difficulties adding my own work to the existing pages as each and every page done by the other group members is great. Honestly I thought about keeping the moly and not passing it on any more - in fear of its loss. I already lost two molys in the mail, and loosing this one would make me sad. But what the heck.... it wouldn´t be fair to keep it. So I´m sending it on to Emma - of course registered. ;)

in fast sucession.

I am done! I figured out having about odd cameras in the house, some I don't even use any more might count as a collection. I had to brush the dust off the Flexaret to get a better look at it. Sending them off to you this week Wil.

Phew, it took me ages to decide...

I have had David's (and Lapin's) Moleskines on my desk for a good three weeks (I think) I have been looking at them guiltily out of the corner of my eye, they even got buried for a couple of days under a flurry of paper... but they have re-emerged and I finally finished David's. There isn't much room left, three panels to be exact. What do you want me to do with it. Send it to Wil? Send it home? Tell me what you think. I'll scan it later when it is dry.

The Mother Load

I wandered out to the mailbox to find Kirsten's package with three molys enclosed including my finished one! yeah! Now I have two to do, David's which has come back to me, and Lapin's.
Kirsten pointed out I collect monsters, umm, can I make it more interesting?

Lapin´s Moly: Collections

My favorite addition to all the molys of the moly_x_6 group I did in the past week. Lapin´s moly has the theme "Collections". While he collects lamps and David collects portraits of elder men, I collect comics. I just love comics - specially the dark and weird Asian comics. I have more to add when the moly comes around a second time.

David´s moly

I had a hard time with David´s moly. I like the Octopus, but not the rest of the picture.

Emma´s completed moly

Wow. After a long time I finally managed to get on with the molys. I just had 8 molys from 4 groups lying around and didn´t really know where to start. As I had so many from this group, I did all of them together and sent off 3 to Emma last week. Emma, your moly is completed now.

Lapin's moly!

Here's my Collection entry for Lapin's book. I collect photos of old folks. Men seem to wrinkle more so I like their faces a little more than old women. Lapin's and Kerstin's books are on there way
